Worst Cut and Paste Error Ever

reading time 1 min

The worst cut-and-paste error I ever made.

I was editing a printed listing of LGBT events in New Jersey. Each month I’d clone last month’s listing and use it as the basis for the next issue.

Due to a cut-and-paste mistake, a sentence from last month somehow got retained and merged into an unrelated event for the new month.

The resulting sentence was something like:

“The [name of group] will be hosting an educational lecuture about LGBT family law, and other countries it invaded in World War II.”

Oops!
